Patients and Friends,
I would like to take this opportunity to express my profound appreciation for letting me serve you in all your dental needs. I will be forever grateful for the trust, friendship, and loyalty you have shown me.
As I approach my 37th year in practice, I have to look at the next phase of my life. Most of you know I have been coping with some health issues. Without going into detail, I have been told by my physicians to start cutting back. Therefore, later this fall, I will begin reducing my hours and transitioning towards retirement.
During this time, you will meet Dr. Miranda Peter (formerly Johnson) who will begin taking over the practice. Some of you may recognize her as she has been at the office shadowing me over the past 11 years. Dr. Miranda grew up in the neighborhood and graduated from Brookfield Academy for high school and Marquette University for her undergraduate studies. She received her doctorate from Marquette University School of Dentistry and has spent the last year in a general dentistry fellowship in Eau Claire, where she gained advanced experience in general dental procedures.
My patient’s care and a smooth transition were of great importance as I considered my successor. I looked for several key characteristics and found them in Dr. Miranda. She is down to earth and approachable, has a relaxed chairside manner, is up-to-date on new techniques in dentistry, and is always looking to improve with Continuing Education. I am confident that she will continue to provide you with the highest quality dental care.
Dr. Miranda is planning an Open House in October. Please stop by to welcome her and continue to support Dr. Miranda and the staff as you have supported me throughout the years.
Again, thank you for the opportunity to serve you and take care of your dental needs. I wish you and your family good health and happiness always.
Sincerely,
Gerald A. Jelacic, D.D.S.
